Perimeter Connect (PT-Connect) is Perimeter’s Invisible Fence® brand compatible collar. It is made by Perimeter Technologies to replace a lost or damaged collar, or add another dog, on an existing Invisible Fence® brand wired system.
Short answer: PT-Connect works with Invisible Fence® brand wired (in-ground) fence systems, including Boundary Plus®. It does not work with the Invisible Fence® brand GPS fence. You do not need to know your model. PT-Connect’s Auto-Detect Technology identifies your system automatically.

What is Perimeter Connect?

Does PT-Connect work with my Invisible Fence® system?
If your Invisible Fence® brand system uses a buried boundary wire, yes. PT-Connect works with Invisible Fence® brand wired systems, including Boundary Plus®. It does not work with the Invisible Fence® brand GPS fence.
Do I need to know my transmitter model?
No. Auto-Detect Technology identifies your compatible system in the field, so there is no transmitter model to look up and no setting to choose by hand.
Does PT-Connect work with Boundary Plus®?
Yes, as a standard containment collar. On a Boundary Plus® system, PT-Connect works like a normal fence collar. It does not provide the Boundary Plus® behavior that lets your dog use the yard right up to the boundary line.
Does PT-Connect work with the Invisible Fence® GPS fence?
No. PT-Connect is designed for wired (in-ground) systems only.
Does PT-Connect work with the ICT-801 or ICT-802?
Yes. The ICT-801 and ICT-802 are 800 Series wired transmitters, and PT-Connect works with Invisible Fence® brand wired systems.
Does PT-Connect work with 700 Series systems such as the ICT-700, ICT-725, ICT-750 or ICT-775?
Yes. These are wired transmitters, and PT-Connect works with Invisible Fence® brand wired systems.
Does PT-Connect work with Invisible Fence® indoor shields?
No. PT-Connect works with the outdoor wired boundary. It does not work with Invisible Fence® brand indoor shields.
Can I use PT-Connect to add another dog?
Yes. PT-Connect can replace a lost or damaged collar, or add a collar for another dog on the fence you already have.
Is PT-Connect a complete fence?
No. PT-Connect is a collar kit for an existing compatible system. It includes the collar and a programmer, not a boundary wire or transmitter.
Which PT-Connect collar should I choose?
There are two options: the replaceable-battery collar and the rechargeable collar. Both work with the same systems.
